Blackwell Chalice has been showcased by the National Pony Society. Blackwell Chalice is fully licensed from graded parents. His sire is performance graded and his Dam is one of only
two Silver graded forest mares.
In 2007 Charlie competed successfully in Working Hunter, Hunter Trials and Dressage. He is proving to have a prolific jump. Also his first crop have foals have now
entered the showring with great success. In 2006, for the second time, he qualified for the Glyn Greenwood Championship at Ponies UK. In the largest championship for many years, w
ith over 40 entrants, Blackwell Chalice gained 3rd place and was the highest placed New Forest pony. During 2006 he won the Stallion class at the Elite East Anglian Native Pony Show
at Huntingdon. He also came 4th at the Royal Show, 3rd at East of England (mixed M&M), 3rd at the NCPS (mixed M&M) and 3rd at Market Deeping (mixed M&M).
In 2005 he was Reserve Champion at Leicester County Show, 8th in the Glyn Greenwood National Championship and 3rd in the ISS Championship final.
Charlie is quiet to ride and showing a good aptitude for dressage and jumping. He is as happy popping round show jumps or a cross country course. He manages
to combine his show career with covering mares which illustrates his ideal temperament.
Standing approximately 14hh, he is very true to type and was highly scored in the 2004 New Forest Society's annual stallion inspection. He has a quiet and gentle nature.
